Exodus 12:49 “One law shall be for the native-born and for the stranger who dwells among you.”
Numbers 15:16 “One law and one custom shall be for you and for the stranger who dwells with you.”
Numbers 15:29 “You shall have one law for him who sins unintentionally, for him who is native-born among the children of Israel and for the stranger who dwells among them.”
Well, the production is finished on our latest addition to the Contextual Series; Galatians! And none too soon, either! It appears that there is counter sentiment among some in the Messianic Movement to what our DVD series propagates. It appears that there are those who have decided that Gentiles who believe in YESHUA do not have to keep the Written Torah of YHWH as given to Moses. That’s too bad. That kind of false teaching will cause more confusion in the professing Body of MESSIAH, just as it did before. I don’t think that those who are propagating this false message have considered the implications. I believe, as a result of this false message, that those in Christianity, who have heard and understood the message of Torah, but have not embraced it, will now be enabled to continue to live in opposition to Torah or (according to The Scriptures), in their “lawlessness” and feel good about it! Those who are teaching this false message do not realize that they will be used of the enemy in these last days to actually fulfill what is written in the Scriptures.
Matthew 24:12 “And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.
2 Thessalonians 2:3 “Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed…”
2 Timothy 4:1 “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; 4and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.”
1 John 3:4 “Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness.
I believe that those who are propagating this false message have slowly been blinded to The Truth as the result of their use and relying on teachings that are additions to and subtractions from The Written Torah. (See my article “Which Law to Follow”) May they finally wake up and realize the error of their way…
Leaven puffs up as does adherence to man’s knowledge in tradition puffs up. It clouds the Truth and blinds a person and dulls his/her ears to the Voice of Yah. I’m reminded of 2nd Corinthians 10:4-5 “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing everyt thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ (Messiah).”
