Thanks for reading and commenting Cheptzibah! I sometimes wonder just how many of these types of things that we see and experience could be classified as HIS Judgment...and at other times as HIS mercy... HE is a merciful, loving FATHER! Blessings to you as you serve the True KING!

"Why do we cry “foul” when we should be crying out in ”REPENTANCE”!?! "
Why, indeed?

I don't know if it's judgement specifically or just people putting themselves under the curse of disobedience...but I could go with either. The point is we have only ourselves to blame when we trangress Torah and plain-old-common-sense and then have painful consequences.

Stupid is, as stupid does...

This is entirely consistent with the nature of our Creator, as seen in HIS dealing with mankind since the beginning. We have to identify sin as sin by HIS Torah, and when we refuse to do that we will not allow accountability to happen. After a time the seriousness of sin is shown by the seriousness of how YHWH deals with it. May we be people who are quick to say "yes" to HIM.

Not to sound preachy but just to echo some of the same thoughts that I have had recently..I agree with you. It's a heart issue...I have had this conversation with our boys many times. When we sin should we be surprised when there are consequences for it?... How loving of God would that be? Shouldn't we just acknowledge our sin and repent??...See what we have done for what it is? Turn to HIM who has shown us the way that leads to life? NOT, just be sorry... but...SHOW that we are sorry and do what was and is HIS way in the first place?...Matter of fact...How about we just LOVE HIM and walk in HIS ways? Is that really that hard??...If we don't truly love HIM then I suppose it is!
It's interesting when you follow through with holding another accountable for sinful behavior...I have noticed that others are surprised. I have gotten answers like "Wow!" just because I followed through. Shouldn't the "Wow!" be toward the one sinning not the one caring enough to speak up about it? It's ALL backwards!
Blessings, brother and thanks for sharing the truth.
